2007 Gallipoli Prize Winner to Show New Works in Solo Exhibition

Lianne Gough, local artist and 2007 Winner of Gallipoli Prize is opening an exhibition of her new works Upstairs @ The Wintergarden .  This exciting selection of work is showcasing Lianne’s unique style and perspective will open on Sunday May 4, 2008 from 3 – 6pm.

While the exhibition also includes landscapes, Lianne has again chosen to focus on portraiture which demonstrates her passion for chronicling the human spirit.   Her paintings describe the subjects’ attitude to life, by the look in their eyes, the way they stand or their place on the canvas. Art enthusiasts and professionals alike, will be able to appreciate and enjoy this selection of works, giving us a glimpse of our community through one woman’s eyes.

The exhibition is open daily from 10-4pm will continue until May 31.
